Giovanni Traettino

Giovanni Traettino è il fondatore e pastore responsabile della "Comunità Cristiana di Caserta" e presidente della Chiesa Evangelica della Riconciliazione, riconosciuto dalle chiese locali che la compongono come un apostolo. È anche presidente dell'Istituto di Studi Storici e Teologici "G.F. Alois" - Martire evangelico 1510-1564 di Caserta e co-presidente della Consultazione Carismatica Italiana (organo di dialogo e comunione tra carismatici evangelici e cattolici), ed è stato per vent'anni direttore responsabile del periodico Tempi di Restaurazione. Laureato in lettere, si è convertito a Cristo grazie all'opera di missionari battisti statunitensi ed ha un passato di professore e sindacalista. Sposato con Francesca Landolfi, è padre di quattro figli ed ha due nipotini. È autore di numerosi articoli di rivista, nonché di Il sogno di Dio (Ed. Koinonia, Caserta 1997) e co-autore con Massimo Introvigne e Matteo Calisi di Aspettando la Pentecoste (Ed. Messaggero, Padova 1996).

Giovanni Traettino is the founder and senior pastor of the "Comunità Cristiana di Caserta" (Caserta Christian Fellowship) and president of the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation of Italy, which recognizes him as an apostle. He is also president of the Istituto di Studi Storici e Teologici "G.F. Alois" - Martire evangelico 1510-1564, based in Caserta and co-president of the Consultazione Carismatica Italiana, which promotes fellowship and dialogue between evangelical and Catholic charismatics; for twenty years he was the publisher of the periodical Tempi di Restaurazione. A graduate of the University of Naples, he was converted to Christ through the ministry of American Baptist missionaries; in the past he has been a high school teacher and trade union and political activist. He is married to Francesca and they have four children and two grandchildren. He is the author of two books and numerous magazine articles.
